Pagemaps Sketch
I love the pagemaps blog, there's always great inspiration and fun challenges. I made this layout for one of the challenges. Go on over and check out the blog. http://www.pagemaps.blogspot.com/
This is of my cute Kessie enjoying the sprinklers. The journaling reads: The day is a bit cool...The breeze is a bit stiff...The water a bit too cold...BUT who cares?!? Celebrate, play, go crazy. It's Summer!

My Mind's Eye Sketch

Here is a sketch I used from My Mind's Eye. The challenge was to use a song lyric. I chose,"I believe happiness is something we create" from the Sugarland song "Something More". Thought it was a perfect sentiment for these fun pictures of Louie. It was fun to mix and match their collections, I love the bright colors!
Bo Bunny Sketch

I just loved this sketch from Bo Bunny. It was perfect for these two photos I've been wanting to scrap. I pulled out some of my older stash, and had some fun.
Journaling: He's a tough guy! His other side-sweet and always thinking of others. He always finds ways to tell me how much he loves me, like this perfect natural heart! Love you too, Buddy! Laramie Peak 7-2010
There's always tons of inspiration over at the Bo Bunny blog, check it out!

Home Grown

I loved the challenge over on the American Crafts Blog. Especially the idea of making a recipe layout, which didn't actually use a food recipe. So here is my take.
The journaling reads:
Our Family Recipe 11-2010
(Takes a great amount of time and patience, but worth the effort.)
Infinity of Love
Fill to the top, when full, add more. You'll find there is always room for more.
Add:
Bucketfuls of Laughter
Armor of God (1 suit per person)
Gallons of Imagination
Fishing (I like just a pinch, but most prefer a lot more.)
Scores of Communing w/Nature
Scoops and Scoopes of Adventure
A Kiloliter of Hard Work
Tons of Support
Bushels of Compromise
Heaps of Extended Family
A Hundredweight of Crazy Chaos
Sprinkle w/Cuddle Time
15 Pets
Many Pounds of Paint, Tape, Bandaids, Tylenol, and Glue
Dash of Green Food Coloring
Stir, fold, roll, and encourage together. Never beat. Work at it always...and enjoy!
Supplies: Patterned Paper, Thickers, Rub-ons (American Crafts); Cardstock (We R Memory Keepers); Black Pen
